Stef Barozzi: Contributions to LGBTI+ Education

As a professor of Language and Literature didactics at the University of Granada, Stef Barozzi has dedicated the majority of his work to the eradication of LGBTI+phobia in the school community at all levels: from primary to higher education, and geared towards both students and teachers.

Throughout his academic career, which includes the participation in events such as the 2nd International Congress on Leadership and Educational Improvement that took place in 2018, he has always been in close contact with LGBTI+ people and activists. This can be seen in the human quality of his work, which has always been committed to raising the visibility of sexual-affective, bodily and gender diverse people.

In the present Congress he is the person in charge of the Opening Conference “Diversity in the School Community: Current Situation and Challenges”, which will allow attendants to enjoy and learn from his experiences, thoughts and proposed actions on social and educational subjects.

Stef Barozzi is not only a great academic, but also a person firmly committed to LGBTI+ rights. He works on the ground and knows the realities of the community. By increasing LGBTI+ visibility, he contributes towards a more equal society for everyone.
